what's a Giclée?
It's a fancy name some folks came up with for archival inject print as the technology was advancing. Sounds more classy, right? Most commonly associated with prints on canvas, paper prints made with same technology are also considerred "Giclée".
What Printer/inks do we use?
We currently use Epson Printers with Epson K3 inks and Epson Utrachrome HDR inks.
These inks are rated to last up to 200 years without fading if kept out of direct sunlight.
What's a limited Edition?
Limited edition means we make a limited run of each image, regardless of size. After that's printed, the image is discontinued. We have created a limited edition of canvas and paper prints for most images we have up for sale in various sizes. We also have a select few ARTIST PROOFS for some images. Contact us for more info about that.
HOW ABOUT A NICE fRAME FOR MY ART?
We make custom frames for just about anything. We use Hawaiian and other Hardwoods and lacquered wood to create elegant frames that complement the art. Check out the Frames gallery in the Woodwork Section if the site for inspiration and then contact us to order.
What goes on inside your head?
Honestly, you wouldn't believe me if I told you. I do practice daily mindfulness, however, to keep my mind and heart centered and the creative whirlwinds manageable.
Can I buy an original piece?
Yes! In some cases the original is available. More always being made. Contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire.
There is also a catalog of unreleased art, especially works on paper.
WHAT IF I WANT SOMETHING THAT'S NOT IN THE STORE?
Many things are possible including printing images that are in galleries, but not in the store, over-sized prints and other mediums, like aluminum prints.
