Kalalau STARGATE

I was honored to be asked for this painting to be on the cover of these volumes of wisdom.

Kalalau Stargate was painted as a vision of the subtle realms informing and becoming the three dimensional world.

Since I was first called to pilgrimage to Kalalau Valley over 20 years ago, these majestic cliffs have inspired me to describe them in many ways with thousands upon thousands of tiny layers of paint.

This piece is the synthesis of two distinct painting styles I was working in: sacred geometry explorations in to multidimensional spaces, and landscape studies of the Island of Kaua’i.

Kalalau Stargate has a wonderfully loose and playful brush style. In the center, precise geometric portals become filaments of energy that seamlessly weave into the textures of the landscape, illustrating the divine order within reality.
